The Communication Department is dedicated to raising awareness and sharing knowledge about psychology using various media platforms and technologies:
- Print Media: Publication of the “Psych-Info” magazine annually, and the development of other printed materials such as message board messages, leaflets, brochures, and banners.
- Broadcast Media: Hosting the “AFLAGAT” radio program, which aims to create awareness, knowledge, and insights on psychology,
- Electronic Media: Producing documentary videos to inform and educate the audience.
- Web-Based Media: Maintaining a strong social media presence (Website, Facebook, Telegram, Tiktok, and others) to provide updates about the club, its activities, and psychology-related topics, while serving as an alternative platform to communicate the club’s message and amplify its voice.
- Networking: Building connections with sister student clubs at Addis Ababa University (AAU) and beyond to expand the club’s reach and collaborations.
- Awareness Creation: Utilizing diverse media technologies, including print, broadcast, social media, videos, and informal communication (word of mouth) to promote psychology.
- Audiovisual Learning: Developing concise audiovisual materials that serve as both informational and educational tools.
